Take back control of screen time and help your child build healthy habits. Carrots&Cake is quick and easy to set up. 

Step 1 - Download the app

Download Carrots&Cake on your child’s device. Enjoy a 14-day free trial, no hassles, and no credit cards.

Step 2 - Create your account

Use your email to create a secure account. Pick a password your child can’t guess.

Step 3 - Choose account type

Click if the device you’re setting up Carrots&Cake on is your child’s device or your own device that you will share with your child. 

Step 4 - Select your Carrots

Choose the educational apps your child must complete each day. Parents decide how much time kids spend on educational apps and how much free time kids get. If you don’t already own educational apps, we can recommend ones appropriate for your child’s age group!

Step 5 - Keep Carrots&Cake Kid Safe

Select the apps to block during your child’s learning time - we recommend you select all apps. With one click you can block Safari and block uninstallation of Carrots&Cake. This prevents kids from deleting the app. Parents can uninstall Carrots&Cake inside parent settings at any time.

Step 6 - Create additional child accounts for free

Set up a free account for each child in your family. Customize each account to your child’s age and interests.

Step 7 - Launch Carrots&Cake

Now you can hand over devices guilt-free. Enjoy peace of mind as your child develops healthy screen time habits!
